Creamy Mashed Potato, Oven Grilled Steak with Garlic Prawns and Bean Salad








Creamy Mashed Potato, Oven Grilled Steak with Garlic Prawns and Bean Salad.

Ingredients:


8 x Medium sized Potatoes
4 x Medium Sized Choice Cut Steak (Porterhouse, Rump or T- Bone recommended)
1 x 200g Prawns
5 x Chopped Garlic Cloves
1 x handful chopped spring onions
3 x Tbl Spoon Mayonnaise
2 x Tbl Spoon Cream
1 x 1/4 Cup Milk
2 x Tbl Spoon Butter/Margarine

Before you start, Make sure to Marinade your steak and Preheat oven to 200 C

Steak Marinade - Chops and steak Spice, all purpose Spice, Italian Herbs,Black pepper, Vinegar & cooking oil.

Creamy Mashed Potato

Method:

Place peeled Potatoes in pot and bring to boil. Boil for about 30 mins or un
til soft. (test with a fork to ensure potatoes are cooked right through) - tip: Cut potatoes into smaller pieces for them to take a shorter cooking time.
Once potatoes have been boiled, Drain remaining water if any and place in a plastic bowl for mashing.
Mash potatoes until as smooth as possible - add in milk and mash, add in cream and butter and mash until smooth.
Note:when adding milk, make sure to add a little at a time as sometimes it may be too much. Add salt to taste.



Bean Salad

Method:

Place beans in a salad bowl, add chopped spring onion and Mayonnaise. Mix everything together then place in Fridge to cool.




Oven Grilled Steak

Method:

Place steak in greased oven tray, Cover Steaks with foil paper and place in he oven in the middle rack. Leave for 10 min then remove foil paper to expose steaks and grill until well browned. Then turn steak over and grill until well browned.


Garlic Prawns

Method:

Put pan on stove and place 1 table spoon of oil/butter (preferred) . Allow oil to heat for a few minutes at medium heat then place peeled prawns in pan and saute for 5 to 10 minutes ( depending on size of prawns). Add in chopped garlic prawns and 2 table spoons of Fresh cream and saute for another 2 minutes. Add salt to taste.
